6th/7th Grade Running Club
The Road Warriors Running Club is for 6th
and 7th grade girls and boys interested in learning about and participating in
distance running activities. It is for all levels of runners from
beginner to experienced. Athletes
will complete a distance workout as well as learn about proper nutrition and
healthy lifestyles. Athletes
will also have opportunities to enter local road races (separate fees) as a
team.
Aug. 23rd (Tuesday) - Oct. 13th (We will not meet Sept. 5th or 6th)
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3:20-4:20 Centennial Park Picnic Shelter
**Students must find their own transportation to Centennial Park. I am sure carpools will be available once we get going.

• A great attitude and willingness to work hard!
• Good running shoes (never purchased running shoes? try Fitness
Sports)
• Comfortable running clothes (students may change in school
restrooms before coming over or the park restroom)
• Water Bottle
This is a club, so you are welcome to come every time or once a week or whatever you can fit in your schedule. We will participate as a group in several area road races (optional).
